Víctor Hugo González Jaramillo
Víctor H. González-Jaramillo is a PhD. student at the Philipps- University of Marburg in Germany. He is also a Computer Science Engineer. He was an associate member at Geographic Information System Research Group in 2005 at Universidad Tecnica Particular de Loja. Since 2008 he works at Hydrology and Climatology research group in the department of Geology / Mines and Civil Engineer. He is a professor of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) since 2009 until to the present. He also participates in the Working Group IDE Red CEDIA, an approach to impulse the Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) in Ecuador. Some of the fields of interest are the application of GIS and Remote Sensing to understand the human activity and the consequences that affect the Earth. He is also interested in the development of SDI, web applications for GIS and the development/application of Internet of Things (IoT).
